Annual Police Brunch POSTPONED until further notice

UPDATED DECEMBER 14TH AT 3:45 PM

The Annual Kentville Police Service Holiday Brunch has been cancelled / postponed until further notice.  Due o rising case numbers in our area and out of an abundance of caution for our vulnerable community members we have cancelled the December 17th date.  This event will likely be rescheduled, perhaps in the new year.  Thank you for the support and stay tuned for more updates after January 1st.

Kentville Police Service Members started the tradition of the Holiday Brunch a number of years ago, with support from Jason's Independent Grocer and the Park Street Ultramar who are long time sponsors.  Beneficiaries of the proceeds raised at the fundraiser change from year to year.  This year the Valley Family Resource Centre is pleased to be receiving the extra funding support from KPS, and food bank donations collected will go to those in need.

The breakfast offerings are plenty and hearty with options including bacon, balogna, beans, eggs, toast, pancakes, sausages, coffee, tea, and juice.  The police members will be accepting free will offerings or food bank donations from those who are able to contribute, and we thank those in advance who are able to give in support of our fundraiser.

Vaccine Passports will be required for eat-in service and Deputy Chief Marty Smith says, "this event will follow the guidelines and regulations that a restaurant would".  That means masks are also mandatory for entry, and must be worn in common areas or while travelling away from your table.  He adds, "People who are not vaccinated can still participate and enjoy brunch, we have a take-out option available so that everyone is accommodated", says Smith.

We hope to see you there!
