2009 Kentville Pumpkin People Display Challenge
Last year, a host of Kentville residents and businesses participated in the Kentville Pumpkin Person Display Challenge. Armed with supplies provided by the Town, and their own creativity, participants were encouraged to create their best Pumpkin People display based on the Winter Olympics theme. To the delight of visitors from all over, who come to view the annual displays, over 40 groups signed up for the challenge!
With residents and businesses adding to the 300 Pumpkin People erected by the Town, Kentville came alive with Pumpkin People ranging from hockey players on the lawn to skiers on the rooftops, and spectators in the trees! The Town of Kentville would like to thank everyone who showed their community spirit and helped celebrate the harvest season by participating in this year’s challenge. We hope to see you all out again for next year’s festival!
