Junior Princess Kentville Mentorship Program

The Town of Kentville invited young ladies ages 10-18 to participate in the Junior Princess Kentville Mentorship Program new this year.  The program was developed by the Kentville Parks and Recreation Department to increase interest in Princess Kentville and start young girls thinking about becoming candidates from a younger age.  Junior candidates participated in the interview process, delivered speeches at the Tea, and got to see first hand what it’s like to run for Princess Kentville!  This year, two junior candidates participated in the program.  Cecilee Paige Herber and Samantha Lisa Longaphy both completed the program and received Junior Princess Kentville Status.

Mayor David L Corkum presented Cecilee Herber and Samantha Longaphy with certificates of completion and Junior Princess Kentville Sashes at the Kentville Tea on Thursday April 29th.  Shown here left to right, Mayor David Corkum, Junior Princess Kentville Samantha Longaphy, Junior Princess Kentville Cecilee Herber and event organizer Lindsay Young.
