Kentville Harvest Festival

Kentville not only celebrates the beginning of the harvest season, but also the end. The annual Kentville Harvest Festival is held at the beginning of each October and welcomes not only the world famous Pumpkin People but also thousands of visitors who make the town a destination point during their autumn tour of the province.

The Harvest Festival Kick-off took place in Centre Square on Saturday October 3rd from 10:00am - 2:00pm.  Activities included hay wagon rides, live music all day, ball hockey skills competition, candy scramble, free face painting and bounce tent, a bigger and better Farmers Market and much more!  Thanks to all who came out to celebrate Harvest Fest with the Town of Kentville! Don't forget to check out the pumpkin people on display until October 25th.

Spike the Pumpkin Person
The Town of Kentville has a new Mascot! Spike the Pumpkin Person has come to life and is causing a stir all over Town! If you see him, make sure to wave and say hello. He loves people, especially children, and really likes to dance! Look for Spike at this year's Harvest Festival Celebration and at other events all over the Valley.
