Memorial Park
The Kentville Memorial Park is one of Kentville’s most valued recreational spaces. It is located approximately one km from down town Kentville and is centrally located within the town. The park offers many amenities such as Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Ball Fields, Pool Complex, Soccer Fields, Frog Pond, The Valley Sport and Multi- Purpose Facility, and last but not least the Walter Wood Playground.
Oakdene Park
Oakdene Park is a neighbourhood park located in North Kentville. It is made up of a large open space with 2 soccer fields, a storage shed, a playground area and a duck pond that can also be used for skating in the winter time. Oakdene park is unfenced and unlighted but has enjoyable trails and footpaths, perfect for walking, cross county skiing and tobogganing. Oakdene Park was established around1966. There are two entrances to Oakdene Park; 1) off of Campbell Road and 2) to the right off of Oakdene Avenue; both entrances offer parking.
Participark
The Participark is 64.5 acres of natural woodland. It was developed in 1930 and is still maintained today. The Participark has great trails for mountain biking walking and hiking in the summer. It is great for cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter season. The Participark is the host of the annual Kentville mountain bike festival. There are two entrances to the Participark 1) Gladys Porter Drive; this entrance includes parking, and 2) the Grant Street entrance; this entrance is a foot path. Both of these entrances have interpretive signage.
Kentville Trail
The Kentville Trail is 7km of maintained abandoned rail line that enables Town of Kentville residents and visitors to be active all year long by walking, running, biking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing! The trail runs from one end of town to the other with many access points to the down town area and recreational facilities.
Ducks Unlimited
The Kentville Ducks Unlimited Site also known as "Miner's Marsh" is found in a wetland habitat constructed by Ducks Unlimited Canada which supports a variety and abundance of wildlife. The protected site also includes 1.7 kms of maintained trail which was built by the Town of Kentville in partnership with Health Promotion and Protection, the Rotary Club of Kentville and Michelin. The site is complete with viewing stands, picnic tables and interpretive signage which makes it an ideal location for birdwatchers, and nature enthusiasts. Miner's Marsh can be accessed from the abandoned rail line trail at the intersection of the trail with Leverett Avenue, and from the parking area behind the County of Kings Municipal building on Cornwallis Street.

Agricultural Research Station Nature Trail
There are over 10 kilometres of trails that lead to two look-off points over the Annapolis Valley, by a small pond, a waterfalls and over many small streams. The trails are mainly in boreal forest on the top of the mountain, but three of the trails climb the mountain through hardwoods. One trail follows the base of the mountain in the Valley. The upper trails are also excellent for cross country skiing in the winter. Many loop walks are available as well. The trail can be accessed from the base of the Agriculture Research Station property located at 32 Main Street, Kentville.
